Psychedelic afro-beat grooves from Glastonbury Festival favourites, Astro 9 is the latest single from Gusto Gusto.

A raucous guitar solo over a moody 9/8 bass line, a slinky melody split between trumpet and clarinet, underpinned by sparse accordion and a ton of percussion.

This is the third single from Gusto Gusto’s March 2026 album Tyrannosauroborus, and pushes the band toward a new, deeper, more psychedelic direction. The album comes out with a national tour including Cygnet Folk Festival (TAS), Eltham Jazz Festival (VIC), Newstead Live (VIC), Castlemaine State Festival (VIC) and Grampians Grape Escape (VIC).

For fans of: late night boogies, funk horn sections, key-changes and festival vibes. Expect a lot of raucous energy.
